SISTERLY SPOTLIGHT
LaCrai Mitchell is a recent graduate of Florida A&M University. She is widely known for her infectious smile but lately, Soror LaCrai is making "news" for a something different. Upon graduation she accepted a position as a News Associate for CBS News' 48 Hours. As a News Associate she assists with the production and distribution of 48 Hours shows and specials by helping with research, and scouting locations.
Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated chartered its first chapter in the Middle East on January 22, 2016. Omega Theta Omega was chartered by 37 women who reside throughout Abu Dhabi, Dubai and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Soror Leah Coleman made the trip to Abu Dhabi to witness this historic moment.
Christin Rouse is our Soror of the Year! She is most often recognized by her bubbly personality and positive attitude. On top of working hard academically, she works hard for Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. At any given moment you can find Soror Christin thinking of a new innovative program to implement within the chapter.
